古美術品や芸術品を好きな方は自分の詳しいジャンルがあると思うのですが、全然知らないジャンルでも目が利く方が「キレイだなぁ〜！！」と思う物は大抵、価値の高い商品が多かったりします。

詳しい歴史や知識は知らなくても、その物が醸し出す雰囲気やオーラみたいな物に引っかかると思うんですよね。

このジョンロブは全く高級靴を知らない人が見たとしても、「良い靴だなぁ〜。」とため息を吐きたくなる一足だと思います。確かにウィリアムの生まれた背景や歴史は興味深かったりするのですが、それよりもバックル部分のデザイン、サイドの切り替えのカーブ、キャップ部分の長さなど、まさに黄金比といった感じで何度も何度も作られてデザインが決まった工芸品の様です。

以前、ビスポーク靴職人さんと話をしていた時に聞いたのですが、ダブルモンクは作るのが非常に難しく、オーダーが入ると相当緊張をするようです。確かにストラップの穴も1つなのと、甲の収まりが悪かったら捻れてしまったりするから、大変だろうなぁ〜と思いました。

一人のお客様にフィットする様に作るビスポーク でも難しいのに、より多くのお客様に合う様に設計をする既成靴はさらに作るのが難しいと思うのですが、ウィリアムを履いている方は大体、似合っていてオシャレなんですよね（笑）

また、ウィリアム1とウィリアム2の違いは、1はキャップ部分が切り替えられていて、2はスキンステッチになっています。1の方がクラシックな雰囲気で、2の方が現代的なラグジュアリー感があり、こちらのNEW GOLD ミュージアムカーフ というゴージャスな名前の素材には2が良く似合うと思います。

ブラックやダークブラウンのバッファローが使われることが多いウィリアムですが、チェストナットの様な色味のこちらのカラーだと、ガッチリした作りなのに見た目は軽快で、春夏用に履くジョンロブとしても活躍しそうです。

木型も定番の9795ですが、ジョンロブはヒールカップ周りがグリーンなどと比べると少しゆったりしており、紐靴だと縛って調整が出来ると思うのですが、モンクスタイルですと微妙なサイズ調整が難しいため、踵がゆるい場合はサイズが落とした方が良いかもしれません。

使用回数も3~4回程度で非常にキレイなため、磨いて、飾って、眺めていたくもなりますが、ウィリアムは履けば履くほど、足に馴染み最高の履き心地になるので、是非、キズやシミを気にせず履いて頂きたい一足です。

Those who like antiquities and arts think that they have their own detailed genres, but those who are conspicuous even in genres that they do not know at all are of high value. There are many products.

Even if a person who doesn’t know high-end shoes at all sees this John Rob, I think that it is a pair that makes me want to sigh, saying “It’s good shoes.” Certainly William’s background and history are interesting, but rather than that, the design of the buckle part, the side switching curve, the length of the cap part, etc. are exactly like the golden ratio again and again. It looks like a craft that has been made and the design has been decided.

I heard about it before when I was talking to a bespoke shoemaker, but it seems that double monk is very difficult to make, and it seems to be quite nervous when an order is placed. Certainly there is only one hole for the strap, and if the instep does not fit properly, it may twist, so I thought it would be difficult.

Although it is difficult to make a bespoke to fit one customer, I think that it is more difficult to make ready-made shoes designed to fit more customers, but those who wear William are generally suitable. It’s fashionable (laughs)

Also, the difference between William 1 and William 2 is that the cap part of 1 is switched and 2 is a skin stitch. 1 has a classic atmosphere, 2 has a modern luxury feel, and I think 2 is a good match for this gorgeous material called NEW GOLD Museum Calf.

William is often used in black or dark brown buffalo, but with this color like chestnut, it looks light, but it seems to be useful as a John Rob to wear for spring and summer. .

The wooden model is also a standard 9795, but John Rob’s heel cup area is a little loose compared to green etc.I think that you can tie it with laces and adjust it, but Monk style makes a subtle size adjustment. It may be difficult to reduce the size if the heel is loose.

Since it is very beautiful after being used 3 to 4 times, you may want to polish it, decorate it, and look at it, but the more you wear William, the more comfortable it will be with your feet and the best comfort, so be sure to have a scratch. I would like you to wear it without worrying about stains.
